Geminare Issued 8th Patent for IT Resiliency Platform

USPTO’s latest patent positions Geminare’s IT Resiliency Orchestration and Automation Platform with the broadest globally protected IP in the market.

Palo Alto, CA, September 13th, 2021 – Geminare, a recognized market leader in the Resiliency, Application and Data Protection market, today announced a further patent has been issued to Geminare. On July 20, 2021, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued US Patent No. 11,070,612, “SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING DATA AND APPLICATION CONTINUITY IN A COMPUTER SYSTEM”. This marks the sixth USPTO patent, eighth global patent, and secures Geminare’s IP protection footprint in over 12 countries around the world.

The patented foundation within the Orchestration and Automation Platform forms the basis of Geminare’s Resiliency Management Platform (RMP) which was recognized as a leader in the IT Resiliency Orchestration and Automation market as highlighted in Gartner, Inc.’s 2020 Market Guide for DRaaS (1), ID: G00726564. In this report, Geminare was named as one of the principal “manager of managers” of IT Resiliency options for Enterprise organizations and Service Providers; an acclaimed assessment of Geminare’s Resiliency Management Platform (RMP).

The RMP is a portfolio of highly advanced resiliency management and control solutions, designed to manage application availability, system and server resiliency, service automation, and most recently Cyber Application Resiliency delivered through custom-built machine learning models, all under one roof. The RMP is an industry-leading, multi-patented and proven platform that offers enterprise organizations the ability to manage, deliver and consistently report on their resiliency footprint with uniquely enhanced RTO capabilities. It is the only multi-tenanted, multi-tiered platform that was purposefully built to engage, manage, and deliver successful orchestration solutions to enterprise environments and enable global Service Providers.

“We are always proud to say that the Geminare platform was the first to be awarded global protection in this area, and we are now thrilled to highlight the fact that it remains the most patented resiliency platform in the market today,” stated Joshua Geist, Geminare CEO. “With this distinction comes experience, technological maturity as well as an expectation to continue to be ahead of the curve for our customers and partners alike. We remain absolutely committed to this goal.”

Geminare Named ITRO “Manager of Managers” in 2020 Gartner DRaaS Market Guide

Gartner, Inc.’s 2020 Market Guide for DRaaS now identifies ITRO platforms as a requirement
for most providers, with Geminare’s industry-leading Resiliency Management Platform
as one of only two “Manager of Managers” options leading the market.

Palo Alto, CA, September 15th, 2020 – Geminare, a recognized leader in the IT Resiliency Orchestration and Automation market, was recently highlighted in Gartner, Inc.’s 2020 Market Guide for DRaaS1 as one of the principal “manager of managers” ITRO options for Enterprise and Service Providers, an acclaimed assessment of Geminare’s Resiliency Management Platform (RMP). Included in the same report, Recovery Point Systems, a leading Geminare service provider, was recognized as one of only three providers in the select Evolved Traditional DR Providers grouping reserved for the top tier of DRaaS service providers.

Recovery Point Systems, a US-based leading provider of cloud-based business resilience solutions and Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader, delivers significant capability to its world-class customers via Geminare’s RMP. The vendors in the Market Guide’s Evolved Traditional DR Providers group are recognized for demonstrably advanced service offerings.

Geminare’s proven status as a “manager of managers” for ITRO is possible in whole due to the RMP’s world-class solution orchestration capability which allows for the broadest range of hybrid technologies, from legacy to cloud, to be simultaneously leveraged, orchestrated and automated. Containing a comprehensive catalog of prebuilt Application Integration Templates and advanced Runbook Orchestration Sequencing technology, the RMP forms the foundation of many cloud solution marketplaces at leading Service Providers, several of whom have been recognized in multiple Gartner DRaaS Magic Quadrant reports, from participants to multi-year Leaders.

“To continue seeing the success of leading partners like Recovery Point is tremendously rewarding,” stated Joshua Geist, Geminare CEO. “Helping to enable the success of our Channel Partners and customers is the driving force behind what we do, and the key to our success. We are proud that they have chosen Geminare’s RMP in their ongoing endeavors to extend industry-leading innovations and solutions to their customers.”

Marc Langer, President, Recovery Point Systems, added, “Geminare’s RMP represents a cornerstone technology within our Application Resiliency portfolio and allows us to deliver differentiated, leading solutions to the market. Enables enterprises to manage their IT environment on any cloud or platform in a secure, managed and affordable way within a single web interface managed and affordable way within a single web interface

September 12, 2019 09:59 AM Eastern Daylight Time

NORWALK, Conn. –(BUSINESS WIRE)– Frontier Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:FTR) has expanded its business services with the launch of Frontier® Cloud Managed Solutions, a new offering that enables enterprises to benefit from cloud native automation, elasticity and agility with more transparent and right-sized cloud IT consumption and billing models.

The new Cloud Managed IT Solutions can be used as a fully managed service or through a self-service portal and has a simple, flexible billing model that includes committed use discounts and utility pricing.

“Frontier’s Cloud Managed IT Solutions are a complete and flexible multi-cloud delivery platform that brings business customers a reliable, consistent and unified cloud IT operations experience,” said Daniel Peiretti, Frontier’s Senior Vice President of Products & Marketing. “Our system leverages thousands of cutting-edge computing assets to provide customers with managed services and integrated commercial offerings, including disaster recovery as a service and security as a service.”

Added Peiretti, “Our fully automated and integrated tools deliver a fully functional environment that goes beyond a secondary application environment, allowing end users to maintain the same privileges and access as in the production environment.”

To ensure that enterprises receive the full benefits of a multi-cloud environment, Frontier delivers its Cloud Managed IT Solutions services in three stages. The first supports customers migrating from a physical or virtualized traditional IT environment to a cloud IT environment that can be hosted on any public cloud or on a private cloud by extending Frontier’s multi-cloud orchestration portal onto customers’ premises or a hosting provider.

For the second stage of delivery, Frontier uses cloud native tools —infrastructure-as-code tool, Terraform and containers— to manage and control applications running in any cloud or platform to achieve smart costs. These tools are also integrated and available for enterprises that choose self-service cloud consumption.

In the final stage of digital transformation, Cloud Managed Solutions leverage the integration of Frontier’s orchestration portal with leading machine learning and artificial intelligence tools to deliver enhanced operational optimization beyond what cloud native integration can do.

Offering 24/7 support with live technicians, Frontier Cloud Managed Solutions include a host of new cloud and network service offerings focused on cloud infrastructure, cloud continuity (such as disaster recovery as a service), managed security, and managed networking and SD-WAN. Approaching cloud connectivity as an afterthought can be costly.

Frontier’s Cloud Managed IT Solutions deliver an end-to-end solution focused on helping its enterprise customers build smart connectivity solutions, including:

  • Uniquely integrated solutions that simplify adoption of Cloud Managed IT Solutions for enterprises of all sizes.
  • Custom customer solutions delivered by combining Frontier’s standard products.
  • The ability to adapt to customers’ individual business models through a pay-per-consumption or pay-per-capacity model, or both.

Frontier’s IT Resilience Orchestration tools also reduce risks by enabling easier and more frequent testing of DR (Disaster Recovery) environments and restricting failover to the affected applications while maintaining the remaining infrastructure.

Customers can learn more about Frontier® Cloud Managed Solutions at https://enterprise.frontier.com/Cloud-Managed-Solutions or by calling 844-331-9485.

Geminare Announces the Launch of mezzanine.ai, Connecting Enterprise Data to Industry Leading Pre-Trained Machine Learning Models

Mezzanine.ai brings together single point integration of readily available pre-trained machine learning models from AI industry leaders including Google Cloud, IBM Watson, AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Palo Alto, CA, April 8th, 2019 – Geminare, a leader in delivering data curation, resiliency and IT orchestration solutions, announced today the availability of mezzanine.ai as a standalone platform. Mezzanine.ai facilitates impactful, curated business outcomes through the use of readily available pre-trained machine learning models from key industry AI leaders including Google Cloud, IBM Watson, AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Mezzanine.ai is a new approach for businesses looking to engage with machine learning. It empowers your data to be seamlessly and securely evaluated through multiple pre-trained machine learning models through a sophisticated, wizard driven, orchestration and automation platform. Mezzanine.ai delivers on the promise of bringing AI and machine learning capabilities directly to businesses, with absolutely no need for in-house AI or machine learning knowledge, specialized technology or data scientists. By leveraging a multiplicity of machine learning models simultaneously, the detail and volume of data insights increases exponentially. Through its comprehensive application integration library, mezzanine.ai’s underlying patented platform establishes secure synchronizations between business applications and data, whether hosted or on-premises, allowing companies to instantly leverage the power of machine learning.

Joshua Geist, Geminare’s CEO, commented, “Machine learning is a transformational force for businesses, but like so many other technologies before it, access is limited to those with significant budgets and expert knowhow. Mezzanine.ai changes that by enabling businesses to access whichever models are best suited for their needs from the platforms of their choice, whether it’s just a single pre-trained model or all of them at the same time. With mezzanine.ai, businesses can test and evaluate the results of their data as it’s run through pre-trained ML models, almost instantaneously. Results with customers such as MovieComm have been outstanding and exactly what we had hoped for when launching mezzanine.ai – immediate access to machine learning – quickly and easily.”

Customer Case Study: Mezzanine.ai powers MovieComm’s exponential growth in data capture and analytics within the media and entertainment industry.

Movie still provided by MovieComm (www.moviecomm.com)

MovieComm helps thought leaders inspire and engage others by using Hollywood movie clips to make communications come alive. Customers work with MovieComm to obtain clips with specific references or themes for projects ranging from embedding high-value content into multiple communications platforms including: internal communications platforms, presentations, email and text messages. With a published goal of over 1,000,000 documented clips to provide to the market, leveraging the power of AI and machine learning was a clear necessity and represented a potentially big win for MovieComm. However, the required machine learning models were dispersed across different vendor platforms including Amazon Rekognition, Google Video Intelligence and Microsoft Media Services, creating a barrier to entry for MovieComm – one that mezzanine.ai was able to resolve with ease.

Through mezzanine.ai, multiple machine learning models were used in parallel to extract data from movie clips. Insights gleaned include Sentiment, Unsafe Content, Objects, and Celebrity Recognition – items that customers use in their searches for the ideal clip, as well as audio transcripts allowing for translation and specific search terms. Machine learning models were orchestrated to be leveraged in sequence in order to gain the most insight from the tools available. Extracted data was then automatically populated back into the MovieComm platform.

“All machine learning models are not created equal,” Scott DiGiammarino, CEO of MovieComm stated. “Using mezzanine.ai and its machine learning orchestration opened up new insight into our data and has been a game-changer for us. MovieComm is now able to deliver a vastly superior end-user experience, and fully leverage the value of our films’ assets. Overnight, we’ve gone from a usable database of tens of thousands of searchable items to millions, and from a cataloging time of weeks to just minutes. Our experience with mezzanine.ai capabilities has been invaluable.”

Learn more about the MovieComm Case Study at www.mezzanine.ai.

Geminare will be available to discuss mezzanine.ai at Google Cloud Next 2019 Conference in San Francisco, April 9-11th 2019 as well Amazon’s re:MARS AI Conference in Las Vegas, June 4th-7th 2019. For further information on mezzanine.ai please contact learn@mezzanine.ai and www.mezzanine.ai
