vCloud Air program, starting with Cloud Archive on Google Cloud Platform

Geminare and VMware today announced that Geminare’s Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) solutions have been integrated with and are now directly available to VMware vCloud® Air™ customers. Available immediately is Cloud Archive on Google Cloud Platform, the first DRaaS solution chosen by Google for the recently released Google Cloud Storage Nearline—a low-cost, secure, highly durable storage service for business data archiving, online backup, and disaster recovery. Tightly integrated with Google Cloud Platform, Geminare DRaaS is one of the most mature, enterprise-caliber DRaaS solutions on the market today.
Leveraging Geminare’s award winning, multi-patented DRaaS Cloud Management Platform, small to enterprise sized customers can use Cloud Archive on VMware vCloud Air Object Storage to leverage Google Cloud Platform, including Google Cloud Storage and Google Compute Engine, for their Disaster Recovery and long-term data archive needs from either on-premises or hosted environments.
Geminare is also announcing membership in the vCloud Air ISV Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) Program and offering Geminare’s Cloud Archive on the VMware Solution Exchange (VSX), indicating that Cloud Archive has undergone technical validation within the vCloud Air environment.
