No, user will not experience an interruption in service, other than having to restart the affected application if they were currently using it. A broadcast message can be sent to your customers alerting them to restart the affected application(s) after a system failure. Users that were actively modifying a file, database or email will recover from the point at which their application was configured to save to while their work was in progress.
